I have studied many different aspects of graphic and multimedia design while a student at ITT Tech. Many of the different classes that I have had have opened my eyes to new and exciting avenues in which to express my artistic abilities. When I first began at ITT Tech, I had pretty much decided that I would like to be a graphic designer. Then I took some wonderful classes such as Audio/ Visual Techniques, which taught me all about filming and editing movies, 3d modeling and Animation I, which made me passionate about the 3d animated film industry, and Scripting and Web Authoring, which really made me interested in web design and programming. Because of all of these wonderful classes, my career goals are much more flexible than when I first began at ITT Tech. I would still like to be a graphic artist, but I feel that this might be the beginning means to an end. If I could start my career as a graphic artist for an advertising firm or as a modeling artist for a 3d animation company, I would be very happy. Then, I would like to progress from that to becoming a project manager on different portions of television shows or movies. I would really like to create the artwork or special effects for these entities. Finally, I would like to be a conceptual artist for the movie industry. I believe that my artistic ability, creativity and imagination would be an asset in this type of position. I am able to dream big and then communicate my ideas to others, while at the same time maintain the flexibility to listen to and implement the ideas of others. I believe that I have the temperament and intelligence to achieve these goals.
